Ark é uma banda que surgiu em 1990, resultado da união do guitarrista Tore Otsby com o excelente baterista John Macaluso. Quem assumiu os vocais foi o norueguês Jorn Lande, hoje já bastante conhecido por seu talento e com passagens pelo Masterplan, Brazen Abbot, The Snakes e Beyond Twilight entre outros.
